On Monday, Sept. 19, the Lady Dogs Softball team hosted McDonald County and lost 4-0.
The Lady Dogs could muster only two hits against good McDonald County pitching, a Tessa Stewart double and a single by Jamee Barnes. Khrystin Davis kept the game close with a good pitching performance going seven innings, allowing eight hits, three earned runs, four walks, and six strikeouts.
The Lady Dogs are now 9-7 with three regular season games left against Humansville, Pleasant Hope and Warsaw all on the road.
